West Country Hawks Wheelchair Rugby Club

West Country Hawks Wheelchair Rugby Club was founded in Plymouth and Exeter in 2011 to provide an on-going resource for the local disabled community though enabling access to the sport of Wheelchair rugby. From small beginnings, but always with the goal of inspiring people across the South West of England to get out and try something new, whatever their physical ability, we now have around 20 regular playing members.

The physical and mental health benefits of participating in a team sport are of benefit to all members and the club also provides access to competition at the highest levels and social leagues. Training takes place weekly in Plymouth (Monday evening) and is open to all who want to try the sport of Wheelchair Rugby.

Come and volunteer. We are always looking for volunteers to help with training, competitions or become a Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby trained wheelchair rugby official.
